~ American Idol Season 9 ~

I'm not sure what happened to me, but during my last one month holiday which just passed, I spent almost every day at 6pm sitting in front of the TV watching American Idol Season 8 (On Star World, the reruns)! And I thoroughly enjoyed it even though I knew who was going to win and all that.

Fact is that it is a quite entertaining show and there is just some awesome songs that come out of the auditions and such, of which I heard:

Allison Iraheta - Alone

This one really caught me, it just sounded awesome and it did kinda make me a fan of Allison, although I haven't actually heard any of her newer songs.

So since the new season was just around the corner, I decided that I should chase it this time instead of watching when I can. So today was the first episode (I think) and I was all geared up to watch it on Singapore's public channel 5, when the stupid thing suddenly no sound. I have no idea why, it may be the school's network got some bugs, but it pissed me off. I tried going to the TV room to watch but it was just so noisy there that I gave up and came back.

Anyway, I finally figured out a way to watch it, so no biggie. And some things I can say:

1. It's actually nice to follow a season as it is progressing. The last time I did this was in season 3 when Fantasia won. (Where the hell is Fantasia now?)
2. I don't think Paula not being there is affecting the show at all. Sorry to say, but I kept thinking that Victoria Beckham was more interesting than Paula. I also think she would make a great permanent judge. XD
3. On the other hand, if Simon does leave (Which seems he will) he will be sorely missed.
4. The one who caught my attention is the first person to receive the golden ticket, Maddy Curtis.

Whee... I got favorite already. A show is always nicer to watch when you have something hanging on it. Hehe.

Looking forward to the next episode, tomorrow, I think. I didn't realize it would be shown in consecutive days. Haha.
