~ Pressure ~

After years and years of watching doctors on tv talking about blood pressure and its numbers and whatever, I just actually realized why they were talking about blood pressure.

I actually never thought about it since I'm not in a medical profession, but I just dismissed it as 'something that doesn't concern me and something I wouldn't understand'.

Turns out it's just plain simple physics (In the classical sense). The pressure needs to be high enough to pump blood through your body, and low enough that it doesn't burst through your veins (Or something like that).

That is inherently my problem though. I just always think that if it doesn't concern me, why bother? Not only to the stuff I watch on TV though, that is the least of the problems. I don't give a damn about things happening around me that I don't care about. I know I really should stop doing that, and I know I keep saying it's hard to do that, but it's just not a good enough excuse to use anymore.

A-N-Y-W-A-Y...

What's with the influx of medical dramas these days?

I know ER is off the air, but really, do we need that many medical dramas on TV?

On the other hand, who am I to complain?

"The Plan", BSG's new movie, is good, just that while I like seeing the attack from the Cylon's view, it just feels like they are making it cause it's convenient. HOWEVER, I would love another movie and another and another and another (You get my drift). It has happened before, and it will happen again. :P

Good day tomorrow. Or today. Depends on how you wanna look at it. But it will be a good day. Kay? Understood? Okay. As long as you get the point.

*Additional note: I always make the mistake of running through the blogs after I post. I shouldn't do that. I should run through them before I post, or post and not do a run through at all.*

On that note, Happy Halloween. (Why do I even care... oops...)

~ FNL ~

Oh how I missed thee.

I don't actually give much thought to FNL until it comes on air then I realize how much I missed it.

Have to change my colors to red though. We all know I love a good underdog story.

~ Would you... ~

Join the Dollhouse? Give up your entire life, the people you know, your entire future to be a mindless content active?

It would make life so much easier. You are responsible for nothing and content with everything. No need to worry about the rigmarole of life, the constant disappointments, the constant worrying, the never ending things to do to keep up in a world moving so fast you forget why you try to even try to keep up.

Dollhouse presents just some very interesting dilemmas and what happens with the possibility of brainwashing. It's all very surreal, with a touch of sense and sensibility.

Although if things turn out like "Epitaph One" (Coolest name for an episode btw, although I still have no idea what it's supposed to mean), it may all be pointless.

Still, the prospect of becoming a doll is intriguing, if not intimidating.

I wish I could just do something similar, be able to forget everything and just go through life doing what I want to do. But life is just cruel that way.

-*-*-*-*-*-

I met an old friend the other day. I did not actually know we were friends, I thought we were just acquaintances. I knew him in form 6, but I was never that close to him. But he seemed really pleased/happy to see me and asked to go for a drink and catch up. Me being me, I almost made up a fake excuse and declined, but I caught myself in time and said sure.

I had to worst drink ever btw, I wanted mango, but they didn't have it, so I randomly took a cup, and I have no idea what I was drinking. Something like honey melon tea except without the honey, without the melon and traces of the most bitter tea I've ever tasted.

The conversation was interesting, peppered with some awkward silences. But I was more animated than I ever thought I would or could be. It was something I thought I lost, but apparently I can still articulate a pretty interesting tale.

~ SNSD, KARA, f(x), B.E.G, After School, 4minute, 2NE1, T-ara, Wonder Girls, etc. etc. etc. etc. ~

How the hell does one keep up with all the groups popping up these days?

You may notice (Or not, since some of you would have no idea what the letters above mean) that they are all girl bands, ages of which range from 16 to 28 years old. (I'm not sure why that's important... ^^;;)

If I were to go and follow some of the guy bands: Big Bang, 2PM, 2AM, Super Junior, SHINee, DBSK, B2ST, MBLAQ, etc. etc. etc., I would have no life.

Additionally, what is MBLAQ?

Amazing performance of Genie in a Bottle...

I always knew Taeyeon has an amazing voice, but Seohyun surprised me. I did not expect her to sound like that. And by "like that" I meant freaking awesome. ^^;;

Thing about the above two performances, it basically only took the four people I always thought were the 'better' singers of the group to do performances, in the same show. I thought they should've mixed it up more a bit.

Anyway... I have no idea how I'm going to follow so many things and have a semblance of a normal person's life.

And I'm only lamenting on the Korean music side. I haven't even gotten started on the English and Japanese side (Which, admitted isn't much right now).

Additionally, I'm also having problems keeping up with Angel: After the Fall. Apparently Angel: Aftermath is already out here, and as such I missed the entire After the Fall series. I have no idea how to get them now.

Buffy's Predators and Prey is also out. =.=

YUI's new single IS also out. =.=

=.=

Too many things, too little time and hardly any money.

I need sleep.

Also, I've been meaning to say this, a man in a chicken suit jumped me the other day.

I was walking a corner and it jumped out and proceeded to hug me.

I can take a few things from this:
1. I appeal to chicks.
2. That's one horny chicken.
3. It thought I would be nice to eat.

Take from it what you will.

~ Massive ~

And that is not counting the newer stuff I haven't transferred into the folder yet... =.= So it's 100+GB in a 500GB HDD. SNSD basically takes up 1/5 of the space in my HDD...

Things are messy as hell... =.=

~ The Commander's Challenge ~

It just took me all night to complete this. XD
100% completion in Red Alert 3: Uprising Commander's Challenge.

Whoo!

Last mission was a biggie. I had to micromanage (I hardly ever micromanage) so damn tough sia... XD

The last 4 missions literally took me from midnight till now... that ain't good... haha...

October 24, 2009

~ Uprising ~

Since, I have a short furlough from all the assignments that are due, I decided to get serious and play Red Alert 3: Uprising.

I like the fact that they focused solely on the single player campaign. The campaign is really something... although I haven't actually finished it. I've been focused on the Commander's Challenges. A series of 50 skirmish maps each with some special features to make it harder/more challenging.

I've finished 84% or so... I'm left with either 8 or 7 challenges. The challenges are exactly the hard part, it's beating them below the par time that's difficult. Some missions give you a par time of 4 minutes. How the hell is someone supposed to beat that?

MAN-SPAM!!!

Since the Empire is very mobile, you can build two Dojo Cores, move them next to the enemy's base, spam infantry and kick the hell outta them in under 4 minutes.

So my strategies for the entire night was spamming Tankbusters and Imperial Warriors, OR spamming Mecha Tengus and VX Strikers. One final strategy I used when I got desperate was training Yuriko and playing it one-handed. (That bitch is crazy powerful...)

Oh, and I kicked her ass from one end of the map to another end of another map so many times, I don't even remember how many times... :P

Seriously, who wears these sort of clothes to a battlefield? Seriously...

Oh, and thanks to razattack1337 on YouTube for the tutorial videos. When I got seriously stumped and didn't know how to finish the mission under par, his videos really helped a lot. Although after his challenge 36, I was kinda on my own. I am very proud of one mission where I actually controlled it so well that the opponent was stuck there fiddling his thumbs till I barged into his base.

This by no means means that I'm a competent player though. It just means I am determined to finish the game all under par time. And it is a solely single player game. Shows how much I love playing with other people eh?

Tomorrow!
nan sesanggwa ssawo ssawo igyeo
Tomorrow!
naneun namanui giri isseo
Tomorrow!
geudaewa ip matchuneul haneun
Tomorrow!
now I can do it for sure

I can't get that image above out of my head. I keep thinking of it and that part of the choreography when I think of this song.

Point to note, I don't think this is the best of the stuff Samsung has done with its promotions. I still think AnyBand is better in some sense.

But doesn't mean I have to hate it. I still like it. And the song is catchy.

-*-*-*-*-*-

Stargate Universe is coming up!!! My weekend will be complete then!!! XD

October 22, 2009

~ W. T. F. ~

Thanks to the South Park episode: W.T.F. (Hehe), I went and spent about an hour reading this: Monday Night Wars

Ahhh... wrestling... what fun...

~ 4Tomorrow: GaIn's Challenge ~

Episode 1 of 4.
GaIn plays a progamer... apparently. Playing some Starcraft lookalike game. I actually thought they would use Starcraft 2 as the game. Why not actually? Since they've already gone all out? XD Nice jackets also by the way. And I do actually think her opponent might be an actual progamer. XD

Episode 2: Seungyeon's Dream (27th October)
Probably the one I'm looking forward to the most. Seungyeon plays a professional piano player or something like that. XD

Next would be Hyun Ah's and Uee's. Not sure what theirs would entail... but this entire thing should be hella interesting.

October 21, 2009

~ 4Tomorrow ~

Dammit Samsung, why you gotta be like that?

Extra:

BoA!!! The things I find when I'm randomly surfing... XD

October 18, 2009

~ So apparently I'm not going to rant... ~

It's too much trouble. And I think nothing much good would come of it.

Anyways...

It's a good movie, considering my skepticism for religion and all things religious.

I mean throw out all the doo-hicky about religion and stuff, it's still quite a darn good movie. If you ask me, the stuff with the love dare and all god stuff seems like a expositionary tool to move the story forwards. I mean it's nice, and relative proof that believing in religion brings good things (Technical note, not actual proof, just "movie"-proof).

And I like the teachings, like not saying anything negative, doing something for your loved one, etc. etc.. But come on, that's just basic knowledge, which is the thing I've always thought about religion and its teachings. It's basic knowledge. "Thou shall not murder", "Thou shall be faithful", "Thou shall not lie", it's all basic knowledge. And they throw in extras like "Thou shall have only one god", "Thou shall donate to the church", etc. etc. (I made those up), which just seem like they are taking advantage of the people who believe.

That said, yes, the movie is nice. You do not need to be a (devout or otherwise) Christian to watch it. And it would be useful for people in relationships I suppose, although I'm not sure how receptive one would be to the religious stuff in it, which isn't a whole lot to be sure. Which was something I liked, it wasn't trying to bash us over the head with "Leviticus 1.14", "Mark 2.36", "John 1.12", "Austin 3.16" (BOO-YAH!).

The movie performed beautifully though. $500,000 to make, $33 million in earnings and $25 million in DVD sales. It's either the best performing movie ever or the movie makers have just conned every single religious person out there in buying a DVD.

Additionally, great song!

I always thought Christian songs were nice, they seemed like prefectly awesome love songs, till I found out that they are singing their love for the almighty which threw me off a bit, but then I listen to almost anything, so that doesn't matter anyway. ^^

How I came upon this movie is actually due to Zhou, who posted it on FB, and Phillip who blogged about it. And additionally by the fact that I needed a feel good movie (I Love You, Beth Cooper doesn't exactly fit the feel-good vibe I needed). And knowing the stuff I know about Christian movies, this seemed like the perfect fit. So I went and got it. The cover, reminds me a hell of a lot of Ladder 49, which, is quite a bad movie when compared to this one. XD

~ Stupid stuff ~

Just a random rambling on stupid stuff. I had more to say than just the stupid stuff, but I went back and forth with it a few times and I have to say it's kinda hard to write when I don't know how to write it, so I'll just put the basic stuff I already had up and the rest may or may not follow in a day or two.

TV Shows:

Stargate Universe, is awesome! Only show I actually look forward to watching these days, and only show I will watch as soon as I get it. And it introduced me to a few artists who make relatively good music. Alexi Murdoch's Breathe is so good and fitting to the ending of "Air (Part 3)" that it just blows my mind. Only problem with this show, it's not coming out fast enough!!! I cannot wait for next week to watch the new one, and "Darkness" ended on a cliffhanger! How the hell am I supposed to survive till next week to watch it!?

About the current crop of TV shows, just my two cents. I think Hank is stupid. The Middle is mildly entertaining but only slightly. Cougar Town is painful to watch for some reason. I get so bored of Heroes that it's not funny anymore (T-bag however, is impressive, can't remember his real name). Why introduce a whole new shitload of characters in Grey's? Criminal Minds is as disturbing as always. Flashpoint is getting repetitive, but I still like it. Need to build up momentum to get to Dollhouse. I still can't make myself watch 30 Rock or House. South Park is fun if the episode suits me (I think Buttons is my favorite character now). The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother is still the big comedies on TV, coupled with The Office, which is still relatively funny. Best show ever is still Red vs. Blue: The Blood Gulch Chronicles, Reconstruction and Recreation! (Watch it free at redvsblue.com)

Movies:

Gigantic, is the weirdest show I have ever watched. Okay, maybe not the weirdest, the weirdest may go to Big Fish (Which to this day I still do not understand). At least Gigantic has a few things going for it, number one, Zooey Deschanel; number two, it at least has a decent ending; number three, it's kinda cool in a cold sort of way. The cons on this list is the fact that the story is actually dumb as hell, a 28 year old guy's dream is to adopt a CHINESE baby. I mean what the shit!? But the presentation is kinda neat.

I Love You, Beth Cooper is not exactly anything new. And while I think it's not worth it to go to the cinemas to watch it, watching it alone, ain't that fun either.

Finally rewatched Star Trek (The 2009 one) and it's still kinda awesome. One of the best of 2009, beats District 9 in the comedy department quite handily and the lead actors are dreamy. ;P

Also rewatched Starship Troopers, which now, made me realize there are some problems with the plot. OH, and also that Barney Stinson is in it!

Movies on my list to watch (And there's a theme here): The Aviator, Blood Diamond, Revolutionary Road, Shutter Island, The Go-Getter, Tin Man (Mini series), 500 Days of Summer.(Guess the theme and then we can watch them together. There are two themes btw)

Music:

... no actual music news. OH, but I did get something. My mom handed me a letter and asked me: "How come you got a letter with photos of girls in it?" I was actually befuddled, till I opened it and saw the pictures.

Turns out was the pictures I won from MySone, shameless plug, please go there and support it if you like SNSD. Link: MYSONE. And much thanks to Alex who sponsored the pictures. ^^

I'm getting depressed by my music collection and my avenues for music collection. It's damn hard to organize my stuff now, and since I kept putting it off, it's accumulating and I think one of the easiest ways to fix it is to Ctrl-A, Shift-Delete.

Just another note/plug for another site which has this line that I wanna rip-off: "I wish more people would take the time to get to know themselves before entering serious relationships in the hope that the other person will somehow solve all their issues and complete them."

It's from a very very very extensive Buffy the Vampire Slayer fansite/review site that has given me so many realizations, epiphanies and what a bad reviewer I am. It's linked here: Buffy Review Site

More about it later, if I feel like it. TTFN.

~ Of all de the pow-der-ful stuf you can find on de interwebz ~

The stuff I pursue just runs all over the place, one moment I'm pursuing Left 4 Dead:

I think this is one of the coolest survival modes playthrough I've seen mainly because it actually captures the action and all. And the players are actually quite funny/intense.

The Rooster Teeth staff playing LEFT 4 DEAD SURVIVAL!!! The worst of the times I've seen posted online (I mean the people who post mostly are the ones who hit Gold standard), but the FUNNIEST one out there! XD

Another I'm pursuing Kpop stuff:

Not a big fan of the song, but I like the fans... XD

26 girls armwrestling... this show just showed me that I should've cared more about Kara than I did. Now I wish I had more motivation to go and post in Kara's forum... zzz (I still might... =.=)

And another I'm looking at funny videos:

Third time I've posted this on this blog. I think it's getting a bit old. ^^;;

And currently looking at two Aussie girls singing:

One of them looks like Jojo.

Hero!!! Gawd, now I love them for making this version of this song!

And they're Korean! Double plus!!! (GAAAAHHH, I'm so stupid for ignoring my friend's post about them on Facebook!!!)

On the other hand, this reminds me that I was previously smitten by an Aussie girl as well previously on YouTube.

Although now I look at it, it's a bit weird. I remember coming upon her like two three years ago... and now... not so funny. Good to see her going strong though.

And I think it's something to do with the accent. It's just so alluring... to me... that is... the Aussie accent sounds nicer to me than the British accent.

Speaking of which:

Pointedly at Gemma Atkinson, who the hell wears such short skirts to a warzone?

-*-*-*-*-*-

The upside of being me is that I forget so quickly what I was previously so pumped up for.

The downside of that is that when I remember what I was so pumped up about, I have to spend days getting back into it.

-*-*-*-*-*-

Excuse me for the illiterate words and the stupid comments and such. I'm feeling thoroughly influenced by some drunk people, Korean girls, British hotties and Aussie/Korean singers.

~ Mood Swinger ~

Probably should get these videos to keep. Realized that these are two videos that are among the things that almost certainly will cheer me up when I'm feeling extremely down.

Might point out that I was feeling down earlier, not so much now, but really, I love these two videos. How nice of the 'internets' to provide me ways to forget stuff I wish would disappear.

That's how awesome the 'internets' are though, something personal and private can actually cheer up someone millions of miles away, as well as touch at least 28 million people's hearts and counting (A small percentage of that are offended religious zealots, who are idiots, by the way).

October 12, 2009

~ Funnee... so funnee... leave me be with my funnee clip... ~

"I hit the freaking sell button on the wrong thing." *Sells his MCV*
Later on...
"Where's his MCV?"

XD

Although now I find that selling MCVs is actually a legitimate and quite deadly tactic... who knew?

~ Wedding Dances ~

Really made my day. Haha. Damn cool... XD

As an after effect, I now think Chris Brown's song is an awesome wedding song. Ahhh, me and my fickle mind... ^_^

~ TV is bad for you ~

Quoted from TheStar:
"The daily also reported that a 28-year-old woman in Singapore left her fiance due to her addiction for Hong Kong TV serials.

Yu Shu Ping would watch the shows on her laptop computer until past midnight, and advice by her 35-year-old fiance Au Guan Rong resulted in arguments.

She then packed her belongings, including the computer, and left their home on Tuesday."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

October 7, 2009

~ It's just so... high... ~

My ceiling in my room... it's just so high... really... I'm so not used to it. Normally I can almost always jump and touch the ceiling, but this one... I won't even be able to get to it if I stood on a chair on the table and jumped.

Why is this room so high? It's freaking me out.

On the plus side, I have a room, it's freaking near the canteen/s, internet is finally a breeze. So that's good. Minus side, the high ceiling, the abysmal view (I could use it to spot people if I want to though), the people here are freaking annoying (I haven't actually met any of them yet, but I can feel it being annoying already... :P).

Things I'm not sure if good or bad: I have a wash basin, so that means I have pipes running through my room. Normally I don't like that, but I find it oddly convenient at this moment.

So at this moment, all my four years at this place I have actually lived at this place. And my last year I got an "upgrade", so it's nice. I don't think it will exactly be "fun", since all my semesters so far have been far from "fun", with the exception of the previous sem, but I think when I was staying outside I may have felt free-er.

Enjoy it while it lasts I guess. =.=

-*-*-*-*-*-

I just realized that horoscopes are all lies and bullshit. They based it on the birthdate and the constellation or something right? So people who are under the same sign all have the same personality or similar right? That is so far wrong I can't believe how wrong it is. ^^

-*-*-*-*-*-

I have been successfully avoiding blogs so far, cause if I don't know about it, I can't get mad about it, right? But then not knowing is almost actually killing me. So I don't exactly know what to do. Read, not read, read... sigh...

I'm actually very weird. Not sure if I've said it yet, but I used to think that if I were afflicted with one of the seven sins, number one would most certainly be envy, followed swiftly by greed, then anger. I can't remember the other four exactly, but I am probably afflicted with some of them as well.

I have no virtues by the way. I may have hope, but that isn't going to get me anywhere. ^^;;

-*-*-*-*-*-

Ric Flair is in Uprising! WAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

-*-*-*-*-*-

My current favorite song. Damn long song also. But it's awesome. I never liked anything about FFXI till this song came along. And it's awesome! XD

-*-*-*-*-*-

Just thought of a list I wanna compile: List of DVDs to buy when I can:
Battlestar Galactica
Dollhouse
Stargate Universe (Whenever it releases)
Red vs. Blue: The Blood Gulch Chronicles

There are probably a lot more, but this is the list for now. BSG and RvB itself will suck me dry anyway, not to mention all the Kpop stuff I also want to buy... ^^

October 6, 2009

~ How I Met Your Mother ~

I'm not saying I'm totally proud of this, but I just finished, again, the entire 4 seasons of How I Met Your Mother. I went to find Zhou just to take back my set just to watch it. (And he didn't even watch it yet... =.=)

Go me. :P

There was a reason though. Cause I was quite impressed by how they do keep track of their storylines and they do come back to stories they set up quite some time ago. So I wanted to trace back the stories to see how they panned out. It's like when you watch it the first time, you hear it for the first time and think that's cool. But when you go back and rewatch it, and you know what's going to happen, you think it's awesome that they can actually remember to tell that particular story again.

Two things I didn't like, although it's part of the above thing that I liked.
(Spoilers for seasons 1-4)
1. The Umbrella story.
I mean they built this up till it was like so awesome, so great, so epic, that when they revealed that it came back to Stella (Sarah Chalke, who, by the way, I did not actually like all that much in this series) it just seemed stupid. I get that to continue the story, Ted cannot meet the mother, yet, but the umbrella story was just built up so much that it was very disappointing to see it amount to something that simple.

2. Same with the Goat story. I don't get how the goat story is even related.

The other minor gripe I have is that after 4 years, Ted still hasn't met the mother yet. Who sits their kids down and tells them about all the women he has slept with before he met their mother. Really. Who does that?

Barney is really the character to watch in the show however. Although if you watch long enough, the other characters also become essential in the entire story. (Well, it is Ted's story. :P)

Anyway, just that.

And I read about this comment that sounded very interesting. Like the ending and future of this show: This one season, Ted meets the mother, another season, Ted marries the mother, then this series finish. Then before the kids stand up to go, the mother comes in and tells her story of how she met the father. :P It sounds very interesting to me, although it might not be as good since there may not have a Barney character. :P

-*-*-*-*-*-

Kay, enough about that. I should go get my stuff done... zzz... =.=

~ Home ~

I'm not homeless anymore!!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

So I guess my parents were right in insisting that I wait and wait and wait and wait and wait annnnddd wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait...

I can't wipe this stupid smile off my face. So sorry. XD

In lieu of that news, I'll now go and enjoy myself at this place for the time being. XD

See ya!!!

Oh, point to note, I'm not sure if I'll be getting the correct room, so this is a bit premature. But heck, let's just see how it goes. ^^

October 4, 2009

~ Gravity ~

It has become a habit where whenever I post here, I will post something in Twitter. It's kinda weird how simple it was to get into this entire tweeting thing. Annoying and fun all in the same way.

Anyway, GRAVITY! I like the song, especially when they used it in the Stargate Universe trailer. ^^

And I need more Sci-fi fans so that I can at least talk a bit about it. So far I have no one who actually watches any of the shows I deem a "must-watch". Some shows for instance: Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Jericho, Flashpoint, Stargate: Universe, Eureka, Generation Kill, etc. etc.

Of those, I would say I still love Studio 60 the most. Studio 60 was way more fun and intelligent to me than 30 Rock. Which is why I am so turned off by 30 Rock. Invariably I compared them, and I hated 30 Rock because of that Tracy Jordan character. It just seemed like another stupid character and I didn't like that.

However, 30 Rock is still going strong while Studio 60 was cancelled years ago. So I can't say much. Unless I imply that most of the general audience are morons who only laugh at physical comedy and cannot appreciate smart comedy, but I'm too nice to imply that. And yes, I have not watched enough of 30 Rock to actually say it is a stupid comedy, but I just can't make myself watch that, especially when I see Tracy Jordan on the screen.

Huh, didn't mean to rant on 30 Rock like that. Sorry about that. :P

Working from home for once. Got lazy to run off to Uni. Haha.

~ Exploring in New York! ~

If I ever do go to New York, I'm going to bring this song with me and play it over and over again there. :P

I just think it's a brilliant song, especially when I'm playing the New York mission.

The other song I'm hooked on for this Soundtrack is the Japanese Campaign one. Which, isn't that hard to figure out since I'm all for Asian music and what not. :P

Just saying that for fun. ^^;;

Went back to my stuff to look for things to listen to, you could say I'm in a bit of a retro mood at the moment. But then the stuff I took out isn't that old... well... in my opinion anyway. And I didn't take much also anyway, just the Red Alert 3 OST, Akai Ito's theme, AnyBand, Kara and 2PM.

Is that the weirdest combination you've ever seen? ^^;;

I think that's what makes me great and useless at the same time actually. I am into so many different things, it's awesome and annoying at the same time. Being this way means that I know a little about everything, but am useless at everything as well.

I think I'm getting into a bit of a jazzy mood though. The New York song and 366 Nichi both have a bit of jazz in them. But I guess that isn't enough for me to proclaim I'm so into jazz that I have to go and buy... er... some jazz singer's album...

-*-*-*-*-*-

I didn't get no invites to go watch Inglourious Basterds. :(

It's so sad, I think I'm going to have to go alone to watch them Basterds killing them Nazis... =.=

Alternatively I could go and watch the Time Traveller's Wife and feel more like a fool. (Issit still showing? Shitz, forgot to check.

-*-*-*-*-*-

My head is spinning... spinning, spinning and spinning... I think I have a headache... whee... this is fun, look at all the little fairies...

-*-*-*-*-*-

Samsung is just so damn cool. I can't even speak ill of Samsung when I want to cause of this, it's irritating when everyone around me always says Samsung phones suck. They look at me one kind cause I think Samsung is just the greatest phone maker out there.

Exaggerated of course, I never had a Samsung phone before, so I can't say shit. But with adverts like that, I still can't say they suck. :P

~ Saturdays (Fridays) ~

I love Saturdays's TV lineup... ^^

There actually still isn't that much new shows that I am really into. New shows have not been a big feature in my watchings since last year actually. I just can't find a new show to get all excited about. I think my highlights for the past year was "Leverage" and "Lie to Me". "Fringe" looked good, just that I didn't feel like watching it.

Some examples of said shows: Flash Forward, The Vampire Diaries (Twilight the series basically :P), Cougar Town, Eastwick (Feels like Charmed), The Forgotten, Melrose Place, Warehouse 13, Community.

Of those, the only one I feel like it's worth it is Community and Warehouse 13. What I don't like about Flash Forward is the TV advertisements claiming it to be a "blockbuster" TV series even before it was aired. A bit pretentious right? And aren't there too many vampire stories out there already without adding another one to it?

Anyway, back to Saturday, there's Numb3rs, Dollhouse and Flashpoint. All awesome, all my favorites. And it's really the only shows I do look forward to, especially Flashpoint. And that's actually because I know almost no one I know watches it. Which is also a bummer because I have no one to talk to about it. But then it's not like I talk about other shows with other people anyway. ^^

But Flashpoint is just nice in the fact that usually after every episode, I just sit there stunned for a while while the story sinks in. I can just sit there for like 5 minutes while I realize that everything around me seems to be so quiet and surreal. It's just an interesting experience. (I don't think I said it out right, but neh...)

And I just realized that Psych is an AWESOME show. It's actually funnier than some of the comedies out there. And they just did a Bollywood mix and a Boyz II Men mix of their own theme song, which is just awesome. XD

It would be awesome if every episode they did something different, but I don't think that would be happening.

Previously I would've went into a more detailed "review" of all the crap I watch, but I don't feel like it. And what's the point when no one wants to talk back to me about it anyway.

New shows to look forward to btw: Stargate Universe (October 2nd), Caprica (January 2010)... andd... hmm... is there something else?

Me still needs movie buddies to go watch "Zombieland", "Inglourious Basterds" and another add-on: "The Time Traveller's Wife".

I sooo need a girl friend to drag to movies like "The Time Traveller's Wife". And potentially "New Moon" later in the year. Although now that I think about it, the girls I know would not willingly go to "New Moon" so easily (Or ever).

Oh, also, I have to remind myself constantly to watch "My Sister's Keeper". And also that to watch "The Lovely Bones" end of the year.

It's interesting how I can be a fan of "New Moon" and also be a fan of "Zombieland". Vampires and Zombies, that's what my life revolves around now. Ain't that awesome?

OH, also, "500 Days of Summer". ... Holy crap, I could just sit here and list down all the freaking movies I want to watch and haven't watched yet. I need a spreadsheet. ^_^;;

OHHHH! Also, "The Hurt Locker"... goddammit... I really need a list... =.=

Today felt like a weird day. And I hate Databases btw. Databases and me just don't click. When I think I've got the concept down pat, the tutor/lecturer comes in and destroys all the things I thought I knew and then I have to start all over again.

Okay, weird day, right. It just felt weird the whole day. I can't explain it. It's just weird. I heard there were tremors around Malaysia and Singapore? I didn't feel nothing. ^^
