~ Uprising ~

Since, I have a short furlough from all the assignments that are due, I decided to get serious and play Red Alert 3: Uprising.

I like the fact that they focused solely on the single player campaign. The campaign is really something... although I haven't actually finished it. I've been focused on the Commander's Challenges. A series of 50 skirmish maps each with some special features to make it harder/more challenging.

I've finished 84% or so... I'm left with either 8 or 7 challenges. The challenges are exactly the hard part, it's beating them below the par time that's difficult. Some missions give you a par time of 4 minutes. How the hell is someone supposed to beat that?

MAN-SPAM!!!

Since the Empire is very mobile, you can build two Dojo Cores, move them next to the enemy's base, spam infantry and kick the hell outta them in under 4 minutes.

So my strategies for the entire night was spamming Tankbusters and Imperial Warriors, OR spamming Mecha Tengus and VX Strikers. One final strategy I used when I got desperate was training Yuriko and playing it one-handed. (That bitch is crazy powerful...)

Oh, and I kicked her ass from one end of the map to another end of another map so many times, I don't even remember how many times... :P

Seriously, who wears these sort of clothes to a battlefield? Seriously...

Oh, and thanks to razattack1337 on YouTube for the tutorial videos. When I got seriously stumped and didn't know how to finish the mission under par, his videos really helped a lot. Although after his challenge 36, I was kinda on my own. I am very proud of one mission where I actually controlled it so well that the opponent was stuck there fiddling his thumbs till I barged into his base.

This by no means means that I'm a competent player though. It just means I am determined to finish the game all under par time. And it is a solely single player game. Shows how much I love playing with other people eh?

now I can do it for sure

I can't get that image above out of my head. I keep thinking of it and that part of the choreography when I think of this song.

Point to note, I don't think this is the best of the stuff Samsung has done with its promotions. I still think AnyBand is better in some sense.

But doesn't mean I have to hate it. I still like it. And the song is catchy.

Stargate Universe is coming up!!! My weekend will be complete then!!! XD
