~ Listen ~

To Charice... on Glee!!! =)

As I've read, she has sang this song before appearing on Glee at some function or other. But this is the first time I'm listening to it and it is just bloody awesome.

This is the cut from Glee. She looks great in the cap. =) (Cut is inverted I believe, look at the tv logo)

This is the full version With a annoying ad placement throughout though, but it still actually does sound damn good. I can't wait to get my hands on a clean version of the song.

The thing about this is that they showed a shortened version on the show, yet released a full version of it as well. In either case, they do both sound great! The short version actually gets to the payoff quickly and you get the satisfying note at the end with relative ease. The full version, she goes through another verse, which I first though would drag a bit after I've heard the short version, but hell, Charice really made the song interesting. Rather than just do the long note pulls (I have no idea what they call those) she varies it accordingly and it works so well, it brings figurative tears to my eyes. I now equally love both the short and long versions.

And she looks so darlingly darling as Sunshine Corazon.

Trust me when I say I've been listening to this song till 3am daily since last Friday. I just can't stop listening to it.

Looking forward to more awesome stuff from Charice on Glee!!! I love it when they do epic songs like that. It's just epic.

And technically, I even loved her duet with Lea Michele when they did Telephone. The problem with that is that everything else is just eclipsed by Listen. Listen truly made me listen. (Brrr... it just got so very cold...)

This is the telephone duet.

Sounds great as well. But lemme get back to Listen. =)

~ Inter View Me ~

What the hell does interview mean anyway? From the "view" I assume "seeing", so I guess in literal terms it's two people looking at each other.

...

That sounds wrong. Haha.

In any case, I still seem to have no luck landing a job. It's quite, let's say depressing. Haha.

I haven't been blogging in a while though. No real excuses for that, but I just haven't had anything much to do or so. Some things I did that maybe interesting...

Went to watch Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of a Trailblazer

First time ever that I watched an anime in the cinemas!!! Although, not really the best movie I've watched. There are inherent flaws in the movie and some flaws with the place I watched it. Overall, I don't really think it's that good of a movie to watch, but as a Gundam 00 fan, you oughta watch it just to sorta, finish the series. XD

I bought G.NA's album. =)

Yes, I do feel rather stupid about it, but I did always like G.NA when she debuted. Her song is just plain awesome. Additionally, I listened to her entire album when I got it, and I love Supa Solo now. Not to mention, her fourth track Loving U is also just plain awesome. G.NA just rocks!!! =P

Anyway, besides that, I've got absolutely nothing else going on!!! Absolutely NOTHING!!! I need something dammit! HAHA.

~ Paranoia ~

Yes, I move on my emotions very quickly. ^^

This, however, still makes me laugh like nothing else: "He should see Drones being built, this should surprise him, it's a shocking strategy, nobody knows about the Drones!!!" XDXDXD

UPDATE: Here just to add on some rants. *RANT RANT RANT*

That's it. Lolz.

I wish someone would just bloody hire me already dammit. ~.~

~ Gundam Fiesta 2010 ~

Yea... that... again...

But since I did recently get a new set, I figured maybe I can go there and get some ideas on how to build mine.

A pair of plyers btw, cost 11.95sgd... O.o WOW!

But anyway, didn't really get much ideas, but I was almost tempted to get some action stands. My plan now is to get two action stands, build the damn gundam models and place them in a display box with moon surface designs... lolz... ambitious no? XD

Someone paid $8000SGD for this. HAHA. I mean WOW!

The four Gundams in the Gundam 00 movie. Looks cool. I love the look of the 00 Qan[T]. Rapahel also looks interesting. And Zabanya's Holster bits are damn huge!!! Harute I can't say much though. Like nothing much new like that. HAHA.

But that's that. Haha. Nothing much else to say. Was nice to see so many models, yet depressing that I cannot own them all. Hahaha.

More pictures here at my FB: Here. But really, I didn't really take much pictures anyway. Hahaha.

~ How was your birthday this year? ~

Not bad, not bad I would say.

One nice thing about having such a nice blogging streak btw, is that I actually have a record of all my past birthdays since 2005.

2005:

Oh, naive me... :P
Still so young then. Didn't even hit 20 yet.

2006:

I sound like I was distracted this year. But I do remember it vaguely. Wasn't a very good year I think except for the fact that I met my new Malaysian-Singaporean friends.

2007:

Moved to blogspot from my Multiply site. "Bday also emo". Lol. Also don't remember much of this day also. Haha. Just probably doing the same thing I was doing those days. Which is nothing. Hahaha.

2008:

I still have that bear actually. And actually, all the presents given by this friend of mine are basically acting as paperweights in my room. Not that I don't appreciate the gift, but, what are you supposed to do with a jade horse statue? :P

Oh, one other thing interesting about this year, some friends tried to "sing" happy birthday to me online:

2009:

First one in this blog. Haha. This year was sad if I wasn't mistaken. I had to buy everything for myself. Which, isn't such a bad thing, since I know what I want. ^^

2010:
And here we are! Six years in blogging glory, my birthdays written down in electronic ink. Irreplaceable evidence that I had actually gone through at least 6 birthdays. Proof that I am at least 6 years old!

See, Spongebob is happy! :P

At any rate, I would say this year was the best birthday I've had in years (At least 6). Why? Because this was the year where I actually celebrated it with people! I mean actual people, not people online, not people through facebook, not talking with someone on the phone. I was actually present when ALL my relatives came down to celebrate my birthday.

Yes, ALL my relatives came to my hometown to celebrate my birthday. :P

Well, okay, so it wasn't to celebrate MY birthday, it was to celebrate my grandpa's birthday, but the date was on my actual birthdate, so I'm choosing to remember it as MY birthday celebration. :P

But besides that happy fact, I actually went out to celebrate it with my friends the night before, which sucked in the sense that I missed out on going to satay celup with my relatives, but rocked in the fact that I got a Spongebob balloon...

I dunno if that is sad or happy news. Lol.

But anyway, for some reason, I did not feel awkward that night at all, even with the potentially embarrassing Spongebob balloon in hand, it wasn't embarrassing. Which is weird.

And then I had the lunch the next day, which was fun! Haha.

And that was my birthday, basically. Nothing much more to report except for my presents.

I truly do appreciate the present, I really do, but for the love of god, I'm not worth this much! Haha. And to put it another way, I'm not that good of a Gunpla player, so I have no idea how my construction of this will turn out.

This isn't really supposed to be my present, but my present got held up by shoddy shipping and lies from the seller.

And in any case, I wasn't really intending to buy this album, but due to some unforeseen circumstances and me feeling really pissed off by some other seller, I decided to get it as a "EAT THIS!" gesture.

In hindsight, not really that worth it, but I do like the signatures. So let's just say I'm content. XD

And still waiting for my actual present... ~.~

So that's that, jot this down as another birthday in the annals of my blogging adventures! And here's to the next one, next year, down the road!!! XDXDXD
