~ Hoot ~
I love ittttt!!! =)
Seriously, I love it... I mean it. Haha.
I just think they all look damn good in the MV, and the bow and arrow dance (Or whatever people are gonna start calling it) actually looks very interesting.
Been spamming it whole day... and night... and the next day. =)
Gonna spam it some more tomorrow. Now I gotta go sleeep... haha...

~ Kpop Night Concert 2010 ~

Wheee...
Well, at least, that would be my response if the thing went well and all that. As such, I do have a lot of complaints about it.
Main thing being that if you sat near the back, you wouldn't even see anything. I dunno about the elevated seats, but I would bet they had a slightly better view, even if they were 20 meters behind us.
Additionally, screens were lousy, far away, and were kinda useless when everyone in front, to the side, behind (Not that that matters) of you are standing on their seats. I tried to be a nice guy and not stand on the seat so that I wouldn't block the view of those behind me, but when everyone is doing it, you don't really have a choice.
Not sure about sound quality because of all the screaming around me. I was wondering, will those girls make themselves deaf by screaming all this much?
Anyway, some pics, I don't really see the point of most of them because they are damn blur, but hey, that's what I've got. =)
Stage
MCs
FT Island
FT Island didn't do badly. They had that "Sarang Sarang" song that I knew, so I was cool with them. Haha.
The Boss
I don't really know any of their songs, so I can't really say anything about them. Did okay as well I guess. Only group at the time that everyone actually sat down. ^^;
ZE:A
I actually felt that I would be indifferent to ZE:A (Like I was with FT Island, The Boss and Infinite), but then I realized that they were singing Mazeltov, which I do actually quite like, despite the weird lyrics in my opinion. They were counting the days from Monday to Sunday for god's sake. =)
Infinite
I enjoyed their performance. I can't tell you what song they sang, I can't tell you how many songs they sang, but I just remember thinking to myself that "hey, infinite doesn't sound bad at all..." =)
Now on to what you can consider are the main acts of this show...
SHINee
The atmosphere literally changed when SHINee came up on stage. And the atmosphere stayed that way for the rest of the night (I would even say it got higher and higher actually).
They were good, they were one of the groups I was waiting for when I paid to go to this concert. They sang Replay, which was good, but I was just hoping they would sing it to SNSD. (Although that may incite some crying or cursing... from... people... =))
Followed which, they sang their other hits like Ring Ding Dong, Lucifer and Hello. Kinda wished they sang Juliette also, but hey, it is what it is.
Oh, and also one of their singers didn't make it due to some ankle injury or something. Now, since I'm not really that big of a SHINee fan, I'm okay with that, but I imagine some people was crying at that point. =)
The 2nd most popular group during the night (Or most... depending on who you ask... =))
SNSD!!!!
XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
=)
=D
Well, it would've been much better had I been nearer. But for now, I'm relatively content.
I GOT TO SEE SNSD!!!! =D=D=D
Huh, can't believe I'm actually smiling when I'm typing that. HAHAHA.
I won't say much lar, because it may not be obvious to you, but I actually only bought this tix just for that moment. It could've been a better moment, no doubt, but hey, I'll take it for what it's worth.
And finally, the stars of the show (Also, dependent on who you ask)
Big Bang
I couldn't actually get a picture of all five of them... so... yeah...
Regardless of who the actual stars of the show actually was, Big Bang's performance really was the BOMB that night. In the sense that they were given more songs to work with and they had some semblance of a show that night. I mean this is the sense that singing a string of hit songs, no matter how popular, does not a concert make. Big Bang's songs were arranged very nicely. Pumping up the night with Gara Gara Go! and Number 1 before toning things down with a perfect rendition of Haru Haru followed by Lies (Which is how Haru Haru and Lies should always be performed btw). Then ending things off which Last Farewell (Apt don't you think?), How Gee (Which I've never heard of) and Hands Up!.
Big Bang were really the stars of the night. Even though I love SNSD more, I just have to say that. Their performance was well arranged, well sung, fully energized and had a whole lot of showmanship.
The next part kinda... irks me a bit...
I mean how do you end a concert? With a big group song? OKAY, sure... but choosing WE ARE THE WORLD!? Come on... that's so cliched. And at least choose the MJ version.
No way I could get a pic of them all together. =)
See the red box, that's where the artists are... haha...
I would've much preferred an uptempo song. With everyone jumping and what not. I think that would've been a cooler way to end the concert.
But hey, you get what you get.
So that's that. Overall, it was a fun night. I got to meet a few of the sones I have been talking to online for quite a long time ady, so that was cool as well. I do have to complain about the fact that I couldn't really see the artists all that well, which IS a big problem when all I wanted to do was to SEE the artists. But I'll give them points for atmosphere, which they don't really deserve because atmosphere is basically done by the audience after all. Haha.
Some people can say I can die happy now after seeing their idols in person. Well, I wish I could say that. I can probably say I can die 20% happy now, but that would be pushing it. I think the percentage of happiness is about 5~10%.
This is a teaser, a taste of what I would expect, and I hope when I do get there one day, it will be better than I ever imagined. =)
Oh, more lousy pictures on my Facebook page: here.
If you don't like my lousy pictures, go to XINMSN, allkpop, some other Kpop site or whatever to find better quality pictures or fancams. Or just find someone who went there who had a good view with a DSLR or something.
Or you could've just went there. Duh. =)

~ My Gundam Building Day(s) ~
I spent two days (kinda) to build this stupid set.
Well, it's not a stupid set, but everytime I buy a gundam set, I call it stupid and then proceed to build it and think it's the most awesome thing ever, but I still call it stupid, it's just a thing I do.
All my tools...
Half completed torso of the 0 Gundam. This is the only half completed piece I have... I kinda got into a mode and didn't bother taking any more half completed pieces. Which I kinda regret now, but hey, that's what it is.
Took me relatively a day to finish both models. The night before of a Sunday and the entire morning of the next Monday. So it's essentially a day.
Anyway, this is what the finished products look like. I tried to replicate the pose on the box cover, but it didn't work out so well considering the size of Exia R2's Beam Saber.
Some other poses. I mean what the hell are you supposed to do with Gunpla anyway? Just pose only right? =)
Got some styrofoam and wanted to make it look awesome and all that stuff. You know the one where people go and make a backdrop and add LED lights and paint a moonscape and all that.
Well, I got tired. Haha.
In the end I decided to just do that. I mean, it doesn't really look great, but I didn't have the heart or the energy OR the time OR the money to actually go and make a moonscape and all that.
The other four on the other side is the 1/200 Speed Grade ones (I'm assuming here, but I think it fits the description I read online). Got them a long time ago. Just threw them in for the heck of it.
However, at the end of the day, I found that I had no good place to place this styrofoam monstrosity. So I dismantled it and just put every model in my cupboard. Arranged quite nicely if I do say so myself.
That's that. My Gunpla, safely stored in a small cupboard. Haha. Maybe one day I'll take them out and do the moonscape thing like I intended, but for now, this is where they'll stay. =)
Considering this is my first ever 1/144 scale models, I would say it has been fun. Even stressful at times. I read up about it a bit as I wanted to do it right, but in the end I just improvised a lot.
I'm moving up though. Went from 1/200 SG to 1/144 HG. Not bad. Although before I even consider moving to 1/100 or 1/60, I wanna practice more on a few more 1/144s. And really, this is not really a hobby I want to get into, at least not now.
I'm focusing more or less on the Gundam 00 series, because it's the only series I have ever watched. But having just 6 models, 4 of which are not really highly rated by people, is not really a collection.
But hey, as long as I'm happy and content, who cares? =)
I would probably buy another one, the 0 Gundam with the GN particle wings thingy when the price goes waaaayyyy down or if I think I can afford to buy it. Or maybe some of the Gundam 00 movie ones. I'm really liking Zabanya. =)
"Gundam Exia, eliminating target!"
(That's just damn corny... =D)

~ The apocalypse ~
Is such a nice thing for fiction. Everything these days revolve around the apocalypse.
Some apocalyptic shows I want and wanted to watch... =)

The Road. I've been hearing about it and I really wanna read and watch the movie. I do not know though, which I should do first. Should I read first or watch first? ^^;;

The Walking Dead. Possibly a very nice show to watch. I hoping for good things from this show. The podcast I listen to talked very highly of this. I get the feeling I'll be overhyped for it. Haha.

Not a show. But I love this game. This game kinda 'cured' my reluctance and mental block towards FPSes... but I can play this game no problem these days. Haha. So I'm gunning for other FPSes or even this game again. I long time never play liao. Lolz.

Last one, not really apocalyptic. But I just wanted to say. ANOTHER ONE MEH!? =)
Anyway, this is not really a very good list of apocalyptic movies/series/shows/games. But heck, it's a list I'm quite interested in (Except Final Destination). So it's cool with me. Next time I wanna do more research before I do another apocalyptic thing. It deserves better. =)
Oh another one to add... kinda...

Good Omens. Everyone says Terry Pratchett is a damn funny writer. I kinda agree, but I do have to say his story does have some structure. I was expecting something wacky and weird and nonsense, but it has quite an engrossing story. Haha.

~ Tenshi ni Fureta yo! ~
Azu-nyan~~
I'll talk about this show in general in another post. This post is just to say that Azu-nyan is just soooooo cute!!!! XDXDXD
And I love this song!!! Although probably not my favorite of all their songs. But still, it's a nice song. Haha.

~ SCANDAL ~
Past few days have been listening to SCANDAL.

Four girls who met at some music center and then just started playing together. And now are quite famous. Sounds so fairytale-ish.
Also sounds a lot like K-ON!! The anime. Although, I haven't finished it, so I don't know if they did make it big or not. But it's a fun anime to watch nevertheless. (I will actually talk about that in another post later on)
But anyway, I've basically been spamming two of their songs only though. So not really sure how much I will like their other stuff. I tried listening to a few others, I didn't really like it all that much. I will try again eventually, but for now, I'm good with these two songs. =)
SCANDAL - Secret base ~Kimi ga kureta mono~
Technically not actually their song. It's a cover of ZONE's song. Which is another equally if not more so, famous band than SCANDAL. ZONE is disbanded however. And really, I actually find I do like a recent spin to old songs rather than the originals sometimes. Depends a lot on the pedigree of the singer covering the song, but in general I find that I normally do prefer covers over originals assuming the original is a very very very old song.
SCANDAL - BeauTEEN
Tomomi's part in this is just soooooooo cute. XDXDXD
And yeah, I kinda have memorized all their names, although I do probably still have problems differentiating them. Haha.
They are coming to Singapore though. I was thinking about maybe going. But one, no one wants to go with me. And two, I can't afford spending more money to go for things like this. ~.~
Although, if you are reading this and really feel like going, do let me know. =P
Oh, and also, it's part of the Anime Festival Asia thingy. The I ♥ Anisong thingy. It's not only SCANDAL coming, got others, but the only other one I can remember at the moment is May'N. Who seems to always come here for the festival. Which is kinda cool actually. Haha.

~ G.NA Draw G's First Breath Autograph Session ~
(My pictures kinda suck in quality. Just fyi... =D)
So last Wednesday I went to hang out with G.NA!!!

Not really hang out, but I got to see her. Lolz.

Previously I bought the album in order to get into the queue, then I found out I actually won the priority queue thingy, so I didn't need to queue!!!
However, I actually went there like 5 hours early (Which is nothing compared to those who went there 8 hours early), and I actually could've gotten into the front of the line no problem. So actually, I'm not sure what exactly I benefited from the priority queue. Haha.
But anyway, she performed Supa Solo!!!

Previously didn't really like this song, but after that, I was listening to it all the way back home. XDXDXD

Number 1 babeh!!! I seems to always be able to get the pictures where they raise their hands in the air. =)
After which, short interview with the MC and interact with fans (That sort of thing) and then the fans managed to bully her until she cry.

Well, okay, they (Actually, I should say "we" ^^;;) sang her happy birthday! So she was so touched till she cries. Lolz. Hardly anyone sings me happy birthday these days. =P
Then it was the main event of the... event! ^^

The autograph session!!!
I was quite up front, so I got mine relatively early. She was damn pretty up close by the way, and her smile just melts you inside. XDXDXD
Anyway, after that I went around looking at the crowd and stuff. It was quite insane.

I think in total was about 300 people. So G.NA was there signing about 300 albums non-stop. Haha. Props to her for keeping it up and always doing it with a smile. =)

She looks exhausted eh? =)

Then it was the last words and we all hope she can come back soon!!! XDXDXD
After that, I was figuring I would go home, maybe tidy up the photos a bit and then post this up. But apparently I had this great idea to take the train ride to the airport to see her off.
Yes, I'm not sure what I was thinking. ^^;;
But anyway, as far as airport send offs go, I think it went okay. As far as my first experience with stalking a celebrity in an airport, that was pathetic. ^^;;
I mean, I could not get a good shot, and I was kinda half hearted as to whether I should run to chase her or not.
These are the lousy pictures I've got...

Only reasonable picture I got...

Which looks kinda nice actually. Haha.
After that, I just took some long range shots from a higher floor after she had already checked in.

Taking these pictures is actually creepy in my opinion. It's like going to the supermarket and taking pictures of some random person. ^^;;

But anyway, that's what I've got!!! HAHA.
In conclusion, I had loads of fun at the autograph session! Supa Solo is amazing! Stalking people at airports require more heart and a willingness to look stupid. =)

Come back soon G.NA!!! XDXDXD
