~ Funniest Drunk Guy I've ever seen... XD ~
It's just bloody hilarious... I couldn't stop laughing. I can see why RT said it was the best online video of 2009. XD
Have a good 2010! I'll probably be posting something else before 2009 is over though... but see how lar...

~ SBS Gayo Daejun 2009 ~
Didn't actually plan on posting this, but I've just been spamming it for the entire night that I have to spazz about it... XD
2PM & SNSD - Be Without You & Duran Duran
Woo Young is one damn lucky son of a gun... if I'm not wrong, he gets to mozzie around with Seo Hyun, Yuri and Taeyeon. I say if I'm not wrong cause I can't really 100% say I can identify them, but that's who I guess they are. (I'm at about 99& sure) And the hug at the end... that's just... zzzzzz... XD
KARA & f(x) - Ring Ding Dong
If I'm not wrong also, I think it's Victoria, Sulli and Luna from f(x) and Hara and Ji Young from KARA. Nothing much to say on this one, but it is nice to see KARA getting along with f(x). (Yes, it's still a mathematical function to me...)
After School, KARA & 4minute - Heartbeat
I love this one. Gahi is just love... and the song sounds awesome with girl voices except for the part 'listen to my heart beat' which sounded a bit off to me. But anyway, I love how they all do an almost flawless job at copying 2PM's choreography and dress style for this song. XD
Many many many more performances I haven't even looked at. Gaahh... I need to go get this show. >.<

~ My 2009 ~
Saw this online while I was blogsurfing, and I thought, hell, why not use it for myself? ^^;
1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
... wow... I don't think I actually did anything new. How sad is that? Maybe go up to KL by myself, but that just sounds sad. Ooh, or how about when I went to my first ever Final Fantasy concert? Does that count?
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never make new years' resolutions. I never keep them. XD
3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
Probably just stay home and do nothing/watch TV. (OMG, my life is just so sad...)
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Michael Jackson? :P It felt like a year where a lot of famous people died, but maybe that's cause of the MJ effect. ^^;; But my rabbit did die. Kinda depressing. XD
5. What countries did you visit?
... none...
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Better communication? ^^;
7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Erm... no real date. The Final Fantasy concert? December 16th? Cause I thought that was when I would go to KL all by my lonesome self.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Being thoroughly average on all of my exams. XD
9. What was your biggest failure?
Failing to do anything actually that meaningful. There were some things I started which I really should've gotten further with, but really, I didn't come close to actually finishing any of my side projects.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Healthy as a unfit ox. XD
11. What was the best thing you bought?
The Star Wars Fate of the Jedi series, KARA's Okinawa Special Edition Revolution album, all SNSD's albums.
12. Where did most of your money go?
Stuff I bought? Haha. Actually my albums probably.
13. What song will always remind you of 2009?
SNSD - Gee. English wise, Taylor Swift's Love Story or any of her songs for that matter, 2009 was as much SNSD's year as it was Taylor Swift's year.
14. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Work on my 'projects'.
15. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Doing nothing. XD
16. What was your favourite TV program?
Err... erm... my breakout show for this year would probably be Royal Pains.
17. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not really. Disappointed maybe.
18. What was the best book you read?
Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Omen. (I read all scifi or fantasy books, hehe)
19. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I really got into the Korean Pop scene this year. Normally I just follow along, but I did get into it much more this year. And I realized how awesome all Final Fantasy songs sound, regardless of whether they are the main theme or not.
20. What was your favorite film of this year?
Primer! Well, I watched it this year. Hehe. But of 2009, erm... I would say Inglorious Basterds or Star Trek or Avatar. The big blockbusters were fun, but not at all that memorable.
21. What did you do on your birthday?
Good question. I was asking myself this question yesterday.
22. What kept you sane?
A few things: family, blogging, friends, my ability to be relatively logical.
23. Who did you miss?
Quite a lot of people. Still do in fact.
24. Who was the best new person you met?
Mysone peeps! XD Well, just a few of them, but they were nice.
25. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009:
Stop complaining about stuff and just get on with it. I complained a lot this year, and I ranted and raved and yelled a lot at my one friend who wanted to listen to me and for that I am sorry. I only realized near the end of this year that I just had to get on with it rather than try to fix something that wasn't necessarily broken nor totally whole and let what will happen, just happen.
So yeah, if I do not post again before 2009 ends (Which is unlikely given my rate of posting), may you have a happy and awesome start at 2010!!! XD

~ Comics Fiesta ~
Just a short and delayed post on this thing I went to recently...

Probably my second time or so going to KL alone (Yea... I vari scared of KL). I had a few reasons I wanted to go, one of which I will not discuss, but the others are: 1> To try learning up how to get around KL. 2> To meet up a friend I haven't met in a very long time. 3> I thought it would be fun.
So the event itself... erm... fun? Haha. One mistake I made was not taking out my camera to take any pictures. Initially I wanted to, but I just got demoralized and I didn't feel like it. So the only evidence I have of ever going is the picture you see on top which I took when I got back home. XD
The stuff on sale was... er... okay? I dunno how to say it, but I didn't really see anything I wanted to buy. If there was a "Yuri Lover" badge I would've bought it though, cause it actually means something different to me. :P
And my friends wanted to put rabbit ears on me... ^^;;; I vehemently dodged that bullet. Although in retrospect it wasn't very "sporting" of me. But what can I say? I'm never very "sporting" to begin with.
The cosplay competition was funny. The costumes themselves were not very impressive to me, but kudos to the hard work all the contestants put in. But I thoroughly enjoyed it totally because of the MCs... they were bloody hilarious when the "moody depressed angry and sad" cosplayers tried to "maim kill incapacitate stare down and shut up" the MCs.
On that note though, there were these two cute girls who cosplayed in some very cute outfits, which I have no pictures of cause I didn't want to take any, but really, I should've. Point to note, they were not 'skimpy' outfits, which is what I do appreciate sometimes. XD
Anyway, after that went for lunch where I realized my this friend really should've been born a guy. I mean seriously, there's something quite queer with her. :P
Then came home I guess, after running like mad cause we thought we had all the time in the world and went shopping at Kinokuniya an hour before our bus departed Puduraya. ^^;;;
All in all, the one thing I do regret is not whipping out my camera to take any pictures. I do feel that is kinda of a waste. XD
And on that note:
OMGZZZ!!!

Still spamming S.E.O.U.L!!! XD

~ SNSD & Super Junior - S.E.O.U.L ~
S.E.O.U.L
Someone go get me a ticket to go fly there... XD
Although at this point is kinda pointless since SNSD's concert just ended a few days ago. *sigh* Maybe I should've been more of a fanboy and made up my mind to go then... hmm... not that I actually would've... but who knows? I'm surprising myself a bit these days.
To (Using the common term these days) spazz about this, I've gone and taken some screenshots... XD
Seo Hyun

Jessica

Sunny

Soo Young (I went a bit mad with this one... ^^;;;)

Taeyeon

SNSD & Super Junior

Actually there should be more, but this is what I thought were the cutest parts of the MV. Additionally, I'm just lazy to go and screenshot some more. XD
Another one I did cause I wanted to put as wallpaper. But since I have no skills whatsoever in photoshop, I just played around with the tools till I got something I liked. Normally I just snapshot a MV, and select as wallpaper anyway, so just messing around is just, well, something new.

Stronger colors I guess, that's probably all I did. Haha.
On the MV itself, I love how SNSD was paired up with the members of Suju. I don't exactly know all the Suju members so I'll be refering to SNSD's members only. My favorite out of all of them was probably Soo Young's one, even though she didn't actually meet her partner, but watching her dance on the rooftop is just soooo cool. Seohyun and Taeyeon's ones seems like it was taken out of a movie, especially Seohyun's one, which was just so touching.
I also wanted to take a picture of Jessica and... er... whoever that is... when they did the camera spinning around them as they were back to back and appeared to be taking random pictures, but I couldn't stop the screen at a nice shot, and addtionally I would've liked to be able to take one where Jessica was looking at the camera and the guy was looking over his shoulder at the camera as well... (Ask for much no?) that part did remind me of Il Mare a bit for some reason. XD
Sunny's one probably had the least impact on me, but it was cute to see the small girl thrusting her hand into Shin Dong's hand with the balloon in it (Oh sure, when I don't like it I know the guy's name... =.=) Additionally, Sunny's pretty... XD
So okay, while I said I liked Soo Young's one the most, I also do love all the others as well. I mean I can never actually choose a favorite, it's like just so wrong. XD
On that note, Merry Christmas! ^__^v

~ Deciding on a Gunpla... ~
I've mentioned earlier that I've been itching to get a new Gundam model to build. I'm not really that big of a collector of Gundam models as of yet, but I've just had so much fun building the 1/200 models (I think it's 1/200) that I feel like getting a 1/144 one to build (Additionally, I can't actually find anymore 1/200 versions anyway).
Since the awesome Gunpla store in DP was recently shutdown, I had to make do with the sad collection in the nearby supermarkets. Am planning to go teen@com to check out some others soon (Maybe tomorrow, cause now I'm all pumped up to go and buy/see it). ^^;;
Anyway, I was basically looking at the choices I have and comparing with my sad sad budget of between MYR50-100, my choices so far and the reasons why...
+1-144.jpg)
GUNDAM VIRTUE (FG) 1/144
Because it's cheap and I love fat Gundams!!! Around MYR38~40. Problem is that it's one of the four main Gundam models in season 1, and as such buying it will make me have to buy the other three. So in actuality it will cost me around MYR160~180
+1-144.jpg)
REBORNS GUNDAM (HG) 1/144
Most expensive out of the three choices I've been looking at. Around MYR99.90. One nice thing about it is that I need not buy anything else to sorta complete my collection with it unlike Virtue above. And I do like the model, the switching between the two modes would be so cool. On the other hand I'm not sure I can do the finishing well (Or at all, since I have no modeling tools whatsoever) and am not sure how far I am willing to go with gunpla-ing.
+1-144.jpg)
0 GUNDAM (HG) 1/144
Most likely the one I will buy to satisfy my urging to build gundam models at this point. Costs around MYR66.90. So in the middle of my budget and it's kinda stand alone, so I need not worry about getting other models to complete my collection or whatever. Issue is that I love the GN wing, but in order for that to look remotely cool, I'm going to have to get a 'action base' to hook it up to so that it will look like it's flying and descending upon you (Ala the scene in the anime). So that's going to cost me another MYR30~50? So in total it will cost me about MYR100~110.
So in the long run, the cheapest one now will actually cost me the most and the most expensive one will cost me the least. Interesting how that works huh?
Anyway, will probably go to teen@com to take a look tomorrow or later in the week.
If you've read this till this point and have an opinion on it, do feel free to comment. I could use some outside views/opinions. XD

~ Results ~
Things I've learnt from my exam results:
1. MyIsis is the worst system to ever be created to apparently ease a student's life. For one, why the hell use this system if it's going to be overloaded that easily. For another, why do I need to bloody log in to your stupid network to check my results?
2. I am distinctly average. Really, my results just scream out "AVERAGE". I will attempt to log in and take a screenshot to show you...

With the exception of the 2008/2009 Semester 2 results, my results are really just all B-, B and B+ es... so I am almost literally the definition of average.
3. Borderline is nowhere anyone wants to be. I now have to either do so averagely average next sem or better than average next sem to get a CAP of 3.5 and above. And I thought I could just coast next sem. =.=
All in all though, I am actually happy with my results. I don't actually have any anxiety attacks the day before the exam results are released anymore cause most of the past few semesters I have almost accurately predicted my results as I stepped out of the exam hall. It's come to a point where I can tell almost how well I will do immediately after finishing the exam. ^^;
Guess I have to look forward to next sem. It's ain't going to be that easy though. Signals will be killer and I cannot S/U it. Fourier transforms and what not, it's going to own me. =.=

~ Taken ~
I've heard nothing but good things about this movie from my friends and lately from the Rooster Teeth Drunk Tank (Of which I am an absolutely big fan of, go to www.roosterteeth.com/drunktank).
TAKEN
The last line Liam Neeson said near the end of the trailer was just so 'yeng'. XD
"I will find you, and I will kill you"
Never piss off a girl's father who is a former CIA agent finder/tracker/whatever. XD
The story is basically this guy whose job took up so much of his life that he neglected and lost his wife and daughter. After he retired he is basically trying to reconnect with his daughter. And his daughter on a trip to Paris gets kidnapped and he then tracks her and her captors down all the way from the US to save her.
I mean, who the hell would've thought up of that kind of story? Liam Neeson is just awesome in this movie btw. The ruthless loving father, haha. And I just realized Maggie Grace was that girl in the first season of Lost.
Watching Liam Neeson chase down suspects by just using a single or no clues is cool. You know that as a movie, he is technically bound to find his daughter eventually. Just what state his daughter will be in and how he finds her would be the point of the movie. I was actually thinking it would be an interesting twist if he did not manage to find his daughter or if something really bad happened to her while he was searching, but Hollywood doesn't work that way, or does it?
There is a sequel in the works, but I wondering what kind of movie would it be? His daughter gets kidnapped again? That has gotta be the worst idea of a movie ever (And the worst of luck ever to the daughter). On the other hand, if say he was just asked to find someone random because he was paid would just make it an uninspired movie (I was thinking that would be akin to the Transporter series, which after the first one, got really old and bad fast).
This will be the *POSSIBLE SPOILER* section... ^^
The guy who 'bought' his daughter is just such a big slimebag. I realize the human trade is actually happening in this world, but what he said was just horrible. "I hope you understand, it's not personal, it's just business". Who the hell says that about people's lives? And he has a family with two boys and a girl!? How would he like it if someone took his children and sold them? I do not comprehend how someone can have children and be so cavalier about playing around with other people's lives for their own benefit. It's one thing to say mess around with their income/job/things-a-boss-does-when-he's-not-happy-with-you, but kidnapping and selling is just... horrible.
I guess this movie did make me realize how bad human trafficking really is. It makes you aware of the issues and wishing you could do something about it, but there are so many more people out there much more powerful and motivated. =.=
End of *POSSIBLE SPOILER* section...
Anyway, Taken is a damn good movie. Pardon my rants on the issues in it, but it is worth a watch, and you should go out and do something about it. Kay? ;P
On a different note, I just spent two days out and I'm so god damn tired. And my results are out tomorrow. And I have no idea what I'm going to do.

~ My (pathetic) Gundam Collection ~
So I really got into Gundam 00 a while back... and I really felt like buying one of their models... but since once I start I can't stop, I decided to just get the small ones and get the 4 models and that'll be it till I get my own income and be able to buy the life-sized one... XD
So anyway, just found these pictures I took like eons ago... so thought I would paste them up... haha...

Celestial Being... in their new home... in my drawer... I recently got a few new shelves which had too much space, so now they get their own shelf. XD

Arios Gundam

Seravee Gundam

Cherudim Gundam

00 Gundam
Not very impressive... and say if I wanted to buy more... I think I would go for Reborn's Gundam or 0 Gundam... the 1/144 version... ^^;;
But building them was fun as hell... even these small ones. Haha.
