Been a crazy few days since I got home... actually, even before I got home it was already a crazy few days.
For one, I traveled from Singapore, to KL, then to Melaka, all in the span of 24 hours. I didn't do much of the driving though, I can probably only claim about 1 and a half hours of that, but anyway, no one said I was an excellent driver... ^^;;
Besides that, I was basically running around for the past weekend and today actually. I ran around on Saturday cause my brother wanted to watch 2012, we went MBO, no more tickets (Or at least, no good seats left) so we decided to go GSC in town... I might point out that I did the driving this entire day... :P
Anyway, 2012 was nice. I didn't expect it to be that nice cause I hated The Day After Tomorrow which was made by the same person (One reason I realized I hate it might be because of Jake Gyllenhaal). But I liked 2012. It had a kinda cool, albeit slightly used theme to the story and the "vehicles" were kinda cool. I liked the fact that there was a "nice" ending to it as compared to others where everything just turns out all right in the end.
Anyway, Sunday was spent also moving about... although I don't seem to remember much of what I did... go eat satay I think...
And today I sent my grandma to temple... zzz... I'm almost certain I'll be moving about so much it won't feel like much of a holiday...
Anyway, I still haven't gotten a chance to contact Macie to collect my loot... I'm hoping I can get to do that tomorrow... ^^;;
Interestingly/Weirdly... I've only contacted one person since I came back. It's almost like I don't know how to contact people indicating I "want to hang out" anymore... that is just kinda sad...
On to "fun" news...
I'm lovin' After School's When I Fall... and Because of You is still awesome as well...
And the more I look at it, the more I'm loving Raina... (She looks young... maybe that's why...)
Oh, I bought Millennium Falcon... yes, the spaceship... I have an authentic YT1300...
^^;;
Now to get Abyss... and... er... possibly other stuff... (I think I'm looking at MAX... I really should get more 'adult' books... although they make me go to sleep far too easily...)
Quote from Facebook:
Let's review the facts. He's pretty rather than handsome, he wears blood red lipstick and he freaking SPARKLES. Face it, he's no vampire. What we have here is a bleeding FAIRY.
Awesome, awesome description of Edward. I've never heard of anyone describe him so aptly... XD
Reason why I never commented on it in FB is cause:
1. Trying to not let everyone know I read all four books and "kinda" enjoyed it.
2. People might think I'm sticking up for Edward (I'm not btw... I give a damn about Bella and more importantly Alice, I don't give two shits about those other people... ^_^)
3. I'm just introverted that way. ^^
Btw, I might also now like to mention that since finishing the books and letting a few months pass and letting myself get caught up in anti-twilight and for-twilight propaganda. I would like to say that I while I think all four books are "okay" reads, books 2 and 3 are exceptionally horrible to re-read or even think about. Book 1 was a satisfactory introduction, book 4 had elements of a turf war and fantasy that I very much look forward to seeing on the silver screen (Not the pregnancy... gods... that would be terrible...), books 2 and 3 are nothing much but emotional darkness and despair that is just painful and hard to read or watch.
Although I'm still urging myself to steer clear from watching New Moon. My brother actually went to watch it... he said he "thought it had cool vampires like Angel and would be action packed..." He, was grossly and very very very very much mistaken. XD (I couldn't stop laughing/being bewildered at him)
Only thing I can give this Twilight thing is that it gave me something to do when I felt like I was in the lowest of places I could be... (Some might say that's like having a stone thrown on you after falling down a well...) ^^;;
