Join the Dollhouse? Give up your entire life, the people you know, your entire future to be a mindless content active?
It would make life so much easier. You are responsible for nothing and content with everything. No need to worry about the rigmarole of life, the constant disappointments, the constant worrying, the never ending things to do to keep up in a world moving so fast you forget why you try to even try to keep up.
Dollhouse presents just some very interesting dilemmas and what happens with the possibility of brainwashing. It's all very surreal, with a touch of sense and sensibility.
Although if things turn out like "Epitaph One" (Coolest name for an episode btw, although I still have no idea what it's supposed to mean), it may all be pointless.
Still, the prospect of becoming a doll is intriguing, if not intimidating.
I wish I could just do something similar, be able to forget everything and just go through life doing what I want to do. But life is just cruel that way.

I met an old friend the other day. I did not actually know we were friends, I thought we were just acquaintances. I knew him in form 6, but I was never that close to him. But he seemed really pleased/happy to see me and asked to go for a drink and catch up. Me being me, I almost made up a fake excuse and declined, but I caught myself in time and said sure.
I had to worst drink ever btw, I wanted mango, but they didn't have it, so I randomly took a cup, and I have no idea what I was drinking. Something like honey melon tea except without the honey, without the melon and traces of the most bitter tea I've ever tasted.
The conversation was interesting, peppered with some awkward silences. But I was more animated than I ever thought I would or could be. It was something I thought I lost, but apparently I can still articulate a pretty interesting tale.
